To address the challenge of getting learners back to Duolingo, we turned their daily struggle: overwhelming group chats—into a learning opportunity.

Our solution makes Duolingo a personal assistant, summarizing essential group chat content and sending it to the user as a helpful notification.

The catch: these convenient summaries are delivered in the language the user is currently learning, creatively weaving language practice into their routine.
